LINEAR PROGRAMMING MODEL OF PRODUCTION, INVENTORY AND DISTRIBUTION PROBLEM BASED ON RANDOM SAMPLING

نویسندگان

چکیده

A linear programming model using the random sampling technique was used for optimization of products in production line Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC), Lagos, which has many facilities and multi-products systems. Products from company are distributed to a number depots across country demand each product is known. The problem interest involves determining what product/s should be made, how much produced where take place. objectives minimize total cost as well maximize sales revenue based on set decisions including demands, capacity restriction budget constraints. Linear Programming software solver (LiPs) solve large problems mathematical developed. improved profit under study by 5%.

Linear programming based decomposition methods for inventory distribution systems

We consider an inventory distribution system consisting of one warehouse and multiple retailers. The retailers face random demand and are supplied by the warehouse. The warehouse replenishes its stock from an external supplier. The objective is to minimize the total expected replenishment, holding and backlogging cost over a finite planning horizon. The problem can be formulated as a dynamic pr...

On the Integrated Production, Inventory, and Distribution Routing Problem

The integrated production, inventory and distribution routing problem (PDRP) is concerned with coordinating the production, inventory and delivery operations to meet customer demand with an objective to minimize the cost. The particular PDRP that we consider in this study also involves heterogeneous transporters with non-instantaneous traveling times and many customer demand centers each with i...

mortality forecasting based on lee-carter model

over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...

Fuzzy Multi-objective Linear Programming Model for Oilfield Production Distribution

It is important to program properly during process of oilfield development. Based on the fuzzy understanding about the reservoir and the uncertainty in the actual environment, a kind of fuzzy multi-objective optimization model of production distribution was proposed in this paper, which considers the objectives of production maximization, cost minimization and profit maximization. By using the ...
